Shawn has lived in East Tennessee almost all of her life and in the Sevier County/Smoky Mountains area since 1984. She and her husband have raised their children here and put down some very deep roots. They had a handcrafted log home business for over 15 years, after which they built and ran a hotel in Pigeon Forge for eight years.

It was during her years as Administrative General Manager of the hotel that Shawn became increasingly interested in real estate. She was fascinated with the process of selling both of their businesses and property, and learned a lot about what she liked and did not like in real estate agents. These experiences eventually led her to the decision to become an agent herself, and she is thoroughly enjoying her new career.

Shawn has experienced the frustration of waiting and waiting for an update call from her realtor, only to give up and initiate most of those calls herself. And because she knows her experience was not unique, she is committed, along with her fellow agents at Acorn Ridge, to working very hard to have the most satisfied customers and the best word-of-mouth reputation in our area. She will return calls promptly and communicate regularly, whether the news is good or not-so-good. Shawn will work very hard to make sure there will be very little of the latter.
